27 years inside cleared recruiting. A different lever for what comes next.
Roland Matte built his career inside a specific world. Now he’s teaching your team to use the tools that are changing it.
Roland Matte
Roland has spent more than two decades placing cleared engineers, operators, and executives into the companies that build the systems the United States depends on. His recruiting career was built inside a specific world: defense electronics, ISR platforms, intelligence programs, and the security-cleared manufacturing base.
The technical surface area is unusually wide. Roland has placed talent supporting programs for the NSA, the Army, the Navy, the Pentagon, and a long list of affiliated DoD and Intelligence Community customers. Many of the candidates he places are not findable on LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, or any other public source. They have gone underground for OPSEC reasons, and the people who can reach them have spent years earning that access.
Through Bull Integrations Group, Roland built the firm that does that work the right way — making the United States a safer place by helping the firms in the security space staff their programs. Over more than two decades, that work produced an unusually detailed understanding of how cleared talent actually moves: who reciprocates quickly, which programs are releasing good people, where the polygrapher backlogs are, and which hiring managers evaluate in ways that don’t show up in a job description.
That career also taught him something the recruiting industry doesn’t want to admit: the fees are obscene, the timelines are slow, and the work itself — fuzzy matching, contextual judgment, weighing a hiring manager’s offhand note against three years of evaluation history — is exactly the work AI was built to do.
Mission Integration Group is what comes next. The same audience, the same mission, and a different lever: instead of placing one cleared engineer at a time, Roland teaches your team to put Claude.ai to work on the recruiting you’re already doing. The 27 years don’t disappear — they become the training data for a different kind of engagement.
Company Philosophy
We are starting deliberately narrow. The services Mission Integration Group offers are the services Roland can deliver today, with full confidence and full responsibility for the outcome. More advanced offerings are listed as Coming Soon, and they will go live as the capability matures.
The discipline of v1 is not selling capabilities Roland is still acquiring. The site can grow into them. It cannot survive overpromising them.
When an engagement ends, you don’t lose access to anything. The Claude projects live in your account. Your team operates them. Your team extends them. The goal is your independence, not your dependency.
What we don’t do.
We don’t sell software. There is no platform, no app, no subscription. We teach your team to use Claude.ai — a tool you already have access to.
We don’t lock you into a retainer. Every engagement has a scope, a deliverable, and an end date. The retainer option exists for ongoing advisory work, not indefinite dependency.
We don’t work with staffing agencies. Mission Integration Group serves in-house TA teams. Agency desks have different problems and different economics.
We don’t build for non-cleared TA. The cleared world is specific. Generic AI recruiting advice doesn’t apply, and we’re not going to pretend it does.
We don’t do generic AI consulting. We do cleared recruiting, and we do it with Claude. That’s the scope. If you need broad digital transformation, there are firms better suited to it.
Bull Integrations Group — and when to use which.
Bull Integrations Group is Roland’s recruiting firm. It places cleared talent on a contingency and retained basis — the traditional model, done with unusually deep subject matter expertise. If you need a cleared engineer or executive placed and you want the search done by someone who understands the clearance graph, that’s Bull Integrations Group’s work.
Mission Integration Group is the consulting firm. It teaches your in-house team to find, evaluate, and move cleared candidates themselves — using Claude.ai. If you want to own your recruiting process and stop paying agency fees, that’s Mission Integration Group’s work.
They serve the same audience. They solve different problems. Neither refers work to undercut the other. If you’re not sure which applies, the Strategy Session will make it clear in the first twenty minutes.
